This dish was very different for me and my fiance', something that we wouldnt normally eat. But it was better than I thought it would be, and not to mention pretty healthy! We did, however, omit the parsnip. If you are looking for something new, give it a try!

My children and I loved this recipe! The only thing I changed was I used brown rice instead of white rice. It worked wonderfully!

I really liked this recipe although I had to modify the recipe because I didn''t have all of the ingredients so I used a half bag of mixed vegetables instead of the raisins. I also used onions and scallions in the pan before I browned the meat. I also mixed the beef broth with some homemade chicken broth. The recipe was very good.Thanks,Thomas Savino
