Expert Tips

To toast nuts, bake uncovered in ungreased shallow pan in 350°F oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Or cook in ungreased heavy skillet over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.

You can use any kind of fresh fruit that you like in this salad. Try cantaloupe, raspberries, honeydew melon, kiwifruit, grapes or oranges.

Purchase cut-up fresh fruit from the produce department of the grocery store. You'll need about 4 cups.

For Creamy Honey Orange Fruit Salad, mix 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon orange juice. Toss fruit with creamy mixture.
