EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Pomegranates add more than just great taste and brilliant color to recipes. They’re also rich in potassium and contain a good amount of vitamin C.

If you can’t find pomegranates, you can use 1 cup dried cranberries or sour cherries.

I tried this recipe last minute for a Christmas day salad and it was delicious. The dressing was light and sweet and the combination of the pomegranate seeds gave a sweet touch. The salad was very easy to make and it's a great to make ahead the dressing store it separately and just pour when ready to serve. Loved it. It will now become a family favorite to make with our Christmas dinner.

So easy, and so delicious. Was disappointed I had to use cherry-flavored craisins because the store didn't have any pomegranates, but it was still a great salad. Will make again when I get a pomegranate!
