This is great for a quick and easy weeknight meal. I added sour cream and diced tomatoes after I took it out of the oven. My husband and I liked this and will be making it again.

The first time that I made this, I wondered where the "Mexicana" was in this pizza. I made it again using smooth salsa in lieu of the tomato sauce! I make it all the time now! You can even top it with some sour cream of shredded lettuce after it is finished baking!

Making this was extremly simple. I do suggest that you not only bake till cheese melts, but until the pita is a tad crispy. And adding your fave toppings plus what is calls, will be even more heartier.I loved it though, and I do plan on making it in the future!

This meal was quick and easy! For a heartier pizza I added some black beans and onion to the chicken and chilies.

When I made this recipe for my parents and brothers I used sausage instead of chicken because I didn''t have any. I also omitted the green chilis and added the olives, bacon, and also some red onion. It probably made the dish less "pizza mexicana," but it was delicious. I used both wheat and white pitas, and they were equally yummy. The meal was also surprisingly filling. Some corn and a salad added to the dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. Best of all, this was so easy to make!

I love this very easy recipe! At first this recipe seemed a bit wierd, but after I tried it I was surprised how tasty it was. I tried this recipe with different kinds of cheese and it was great! Now I always have pizza sauce and cheese in the fridge for times when I crave for pizza. I like the unique taste of the pita bread in this recipe. This recipe''s a winner!
