I fixed the soggy issue by beating an egg and brushing it over the entire pizza crust before the first bake (you don't have to use the whole entire beaten egg, just brush a coat over the pizza). I also cut the recipe in half, and spread the batter into a thin crust on baking parchment paper on a cookie tray. The egg coating on top helped to keep the sauce from absorbing into the crust, and the parchment paper helped to keep the bottom from getting to moist during baking. My pizza was pretty crispy and didn't crumble at all.

This was the best gluten free homemade pizza I have had so far. My husband and I cannot eat cheese for health reasons and we enjoyed this pizza even without cheese.

Definitely not pizza crust. It smelled odd when baking, almost sweet. What we got was more like pie crust than pizza crust. It did not satisfy my pizza craving at all. It was dry and crumbly. It didn't taste terrible, it just didn't make good pizza.

I made the best gluten free pizza ever using the recipe, topped with bell peppers, red onion, olives, sausage and mushrooms. I cut the dough in half and made two thin crust 12" pizzas. It takes a little extra time to spread it so thin on the pan but well worth it. I originally made it as per the recipie but the crust was too thick and became soggy.

This recipe is easy to make, but is essentially a "pizza pancake" The crust is crumbly and and soft just like a pancake would be. If you are a true pizza fan this wouldn't be the recipe for you...take the time and make something with yeast in it for a real pizza dough. However, there is a plus side. This recipe is great for kids. We have a 1 year old who is gluten intolerant and he was able to eat this pizza easily because of it's soft textured crust. His twin and his 2 1/2 year old sister loved it as well. So this recipe certainly has it's place.

this pizza crust really watery was expecting more of a dough, so my pizza pan with holes in it was way out of the question. saw the reviews to add some garlic powder, so i added some to the mix, and used 2 9' pie pans for the crust. topped with sauce, cheese, parm, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms came out great. althought i used regular bisquick instead of gluten free

Really didn't like this crust. The pizza sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, green olives and mozzarella cheese couldn't cover the taste and texture of the crust. Almost a whole pizza went into the trash.

Tried this recipe a couple months ago, wont be using it again.. At first when it came out of the oven the first few bites where good but as the sauce sat on the "crust" it became horribly soggy and my husband and i threw it out and had to find something else to eat. More like pan cake then pizza crust, we like thin crisp kind.

We absolutely love the GF pizza crust. I double the batch for my boys , they love thick crust, and just a thin crust for me. However, I do add garlic, italian seasoning blend and parsley to the crust mixture. What I have found to be the key is to bake the crust for 10-12 minutes with no toppings (for the thick crust) and 8-10 for the thin. This helps the sauce go on easier and not soak in and then just add the rest of your toppings and bake until nice and golden :o) We love it!!

I made this recipe and was so disappointed. I have made pizza crust using regular Bisquick and it was fine. But this crust, while having a good taste (I added extra seasonings),had a terrible texture. The sauce seemed to soak into the top of the crust and turned it mushy. It was almost inedible except to my husband who has suffered silently while I am gluten free and would eat anything that even resembled pizza. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix this problem, I would appreciate your help. I love the GF Bisquick and have had many other successes with it.
