ounces uncooked rotini
1 1/2
pounds ground beef

medium onion

15 oz can pizza sauce
1
8 oz can tomato paste
1/2
teaspoon sugar
1/2
teaspoon garlic salt
1/2
teaspoon dried oregano
2
cups (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
pepperoni

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven 350F. Cook pasta. Drain keep warm
  • 2 Brown beef and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat, drain fat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3 Combine pasta, pizza sauce, tomato sauze, tomato paste, sugar, garlic salt and oregano in large bowl. Add beef and mix well.
  • 4 Place half of mixture in 3- quart casserole or oven proff skillet; top with 1 cup cheese. Repeat layers. Arrange pepperoni on top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted
