Ingredients

1: box Pineapple or Yellow cake mix

1: can sliced pineapple

8: tablespoons butter

: brown sugar

: cherries

: nuts (optional)

Directions

1 Cover an even layer of brown sugar on the bottom of a 9x13 dish. Melt the butter and pour over top.
2 Cover with sliced pineapple, cherries, and nuts as desired.
3 Make the cake mix as directed on the box and pour into the dish over top the pineapple.
4 Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Let cool for 10-15 minutes.
5 Loosen the edges of the cake with a butter knife and carefully flip over onto a platter.
