This was a super easy cake to make! I made it for my nephew's first piano recital. The only thing I substituted was regular milk chocolate "keys" for the Cookies 'n Cream "keys". Also, piping the music notes into the "music book" was very challenging. Luckily, my daughter has little hands and managed to put them on for me! Otherwise, an awesome cake!

Made this cake today for my daughter's piano graduation. It was a lot of fun to make, and was a big hit! Great tip about making a thin layer of frosting and the cooling in the fridge before putting rest of frosting on.

I made this cake for my husband birthday two days ago. It turns out really really good. I used milk wafer biscuit instead of the dark chocolate. I found it more easy because you don't have to cut it anymore since the size of the wafer is perfect for the keyboard. My husband loved to play keyboard so i decided to make this for him... Posted in our FB account... our friends loved it.

I make this for school cake walks and it always makes people smile. Cutting the chocolate keys can be tricky, just make sure your knife is hot and the chocolate is room temperature. Don't try to just press down on knife, move knife in like you are sawing.

I haven't made this cake yet, but I'm concerned that when I saved it to my recipe box there is not an actual picture of the finished cake, just a diagram of how to cut it. A real picture like on the main site would be quite helpful as I'm not the greatest baker.
