I made this recipe with hot sausage and it was fantastic! I cook for 2 boys so they have to have to have some kind of meat in it. Also, make sure to use more sauce than the recipe calls for or it might get a little dry.

We love this dish with more tomatos, some Jennie-O-Turkey Hot Italian Sausage (sliced'n'broiled a few minutes) and also mushrooms!

This was great! I couldn't find the smoked cheese, so I used regular. I used fire roasted tomatoes. I am definitely making this again and I'm going to look for the smoked cheese, and use the tip for bacon.

Kids loved the dish and so did I. I wasn't able to find the smoked cheese, but I did use the idea that one reviewer stated they did-- used liquid smoke. I don't think I used enough though because I still didn't taste the smokiness, however the meal is a keeper. It's delicious. :)

Made this one for dinner the other night and really liked it. Oh and smoked mozarella what a find! Not hard to find either it was in the specialty cheese case. The only thing I did different was I used whole wheat penne pasta and I liked it I think it adds a distinct flavor to it. And yes the leftovers were just as good.

I made this, but I kept finding things to add! I sauteed green peppers, onions, and then I added the tomatoes, and then I added artichokes and leftover cut up italian sausage. I put that all into a big pan on the stove, then I added a jar of white alfredo sauce and a jar of red spaghetti sauce, along with some seasonings, and red pepper for a little kick. Then I added the cooked noodles. I could only find mozz string cheese that was smoked, so I shredded that and added that and let it simmer. It was delicious, we packed it up and took it for lunches today:)
