  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 15x10x1-inch pan. Beat flour, 3/4 cup butter, 1/3 cup sugar and the salt in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Press firmly in pan. Bake about 20 minutes or until light golden brown.

In large bowl, mix all remaining ingredients except pecans until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour filling over partially baked crust; spread evenly.

Bake about 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For squares, cut into 10 rows by 6 rows.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Cut into triangles instead of squares. For an extra-special treat, dip the squares or triangles into melted semi-sweet chocolate chips.
