This is one of my favorite pies to make in the summer. I use dried cranberries instead of raisins. I also increase the nutmeg and ginger to a 1/2 teaspoon. I have friends who are diabetic and have used a sugar substitute. The results have been wowed over!

This is the easiest pie to make! I made it with a refridgerated pie crust and it was still very tasty! Next time I'll add dried cranberries too.

This pie is tasty! I was skeptical that you could make a decent pie crust with Bisquick, but was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to make and looked great. Everyone I served it to was even more impressed when I told them there was oatmeal in the topping (anything to make eating pie a healthy event!).

I''m not too fond of rasins, expecially cooked with other fruits in pies. Maybe if I knew what rasins do for the body or immune system, I could learn to like them.
