I made a gluten free cookie, and used my own cream cheese frosting that I made. I also used a ButterFinger bar, and it was a hit. My son couldn't stop eating it. I have a super easy gluten free peanut butter cookie dough, and this works well. I liked it as well, till I figure out my cals that I ate.

cakepie- its looks like Butterfinger to me.....i am betting you could use Crunch, or maybe a Dove bar, but me personally would use Butterfinger.

I just wanted to know what kind of candy bar they used. Butterfingers? Perhaps like other recipe providers do...they could say.....'such as' and actually name what they used? Or...'we used...'

Yum, yum, YUM!!! I love baking sweets and am always looking for something new to try. These bars were a hit with my family and my friends. I've made them 4 times in the past couple of weeks.

I am huge peanut butter fan and these were just okay. I have a similar recipe which is much much better (google peanut butter pie). Would not make again as there are endless recipes out there.

These are the best desert bars I have ever made and I've made a few! I made them for my husband and child because they both love anything peanut butter and me, not so much. But when I tried one the flavor of the peanut butter topping combined with the cookie bar was out of this world. I am making them again tomorrow for a family party....
