OK - were these the best peanut butter cookies I have ever had? No, but for my son who has a VERY restricted diet (no grains and no dairy), they were marvelous - he LOVES them! I did change the butter to margarine, but other than that we made them as is. We can rarely find a recipe for cookies for him and so we re VERY pleased wiht this one.

I was disapointed in this recipie. The cookies were very dry, and left a chalkie after taste. The dough was very hard to work with, very crumbly
