These came out excellent - better than my grandmother's (which says a LOT)! I refrigerated the dough for several hours prior to baking, which made rolling easier and a lot less sticky. I also baked for 7 min, planted the Kisses, then baked for an additional minute so the kisses would melt into the cookies and be soft. The cookie recipe itself has great flavor, and the softer kisses are more pleasurable to the palate. I got the full 7 dozen out of this recipe.
