I agree with all, too sweet, cut sugar and margerine in half. Also no way that picture is of this peach cobbler. It was good but I like a crunchy top. It turned out more like a peach pudding,I was disappointed..

I skipped the nutmeg because I don't have any and I mixed it my own way because I failed to read the instructions completely before I started. I mixed the sugar in with the Bisquick instead of rolling the peaches in it. And I did not melt the butter, just mixed it with a fork with the mixture. I rinsed off the peaches and added them to the mix, then I sprinkled it with cinnamon. I used a toaster oven and only baked it for 50 minutes instead of 60 and it turned out just fine.

I'm using Rhubarb instead of peaches. It's in the oven now and I can't wait! Betty never disappoints. :-)

This is the best recipe ever! I've made this at least four times this month because my husband can't get enough of it. I did change a few things. I used splenda and I added a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg to the batter and peaches. Once I used fat free milk and another time I used the pear juice that the can peaches were in. Both times it turned out great. I'm going to try this with Apples.

This is by far the best and easiest peach cobbler I have ever made or tasted. I doubled the recipe and used canned peaches in lite syrup with this recipe. being able to use canned peaches is the bomb. It was a HUGE success with my family. The only thing I did different, was bake it 1hour and 20 minutes to get a lavish brown crunchy crust on top which also insured the bottom crust would be completely done. I can see now, we will have this desert a lot more often.

This recipe is perfect! The only thing I will do differently when I do it again, is leave the juice in the peaches and add just a bit more Bisquick (1/4 C) to absorb it. And maybe add a tablespoon or two of sugar to the batter to make it a bit sweeter. But that's only to give it a more personal touch. I can easily see this recipe working well with any fruit, frozen or canned. I think I may try frozen mixed berries next time :D Wonderful!

I followed this recipe to the letter and the cobbler came out just perfect. The only thing I did extra was to sprinkle some sugar on top when it came out of the oven and was still hot. It is not too sweet, just right. I used canned peaches; now I know I have a cobbler recipe to use year round.

I agree.... I think the measurements are wrong... or else the picture is definately wrong!!! There is no way that biscuit mix will rise up and look like that if it starts out on the bottom!! My cobbler was more like a peach pie. It was very tasty though!
