Just 4 ingredients and a minute in the blender, and you have a delicious smoothie to start your day!
bag (12 oz) frozen sweet peas
cup Cascadian Farm® frozen organic strawberries
cup pineapple juice
medium banana, cut up
Cook peas as directed on bag. Rinse with cold water until cooled. Drain.
In blender, place 1/3 cup of the cooked peas and remaining ingredients. (Cover and refrigerate remaining peas for another use.) Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.
Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.
For food safety reasons, frozen vegetables must be cooked.
Use remaining cooked peas in your mixed greens salad, or add to a soup or stir fry.
