Just 4 ingredients and a minute in the blender, and you have a delicious smoothie to start your day!

Ingredients

bag (12 oz) Green Giant™ Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen sweet peas
1
cup Cascadian Farm® frozen organic strawberries
1/2
cup pineapple juice
1
medium banana, cut up

Directions

  • 1 Cook peas as directed on bag. Rinse with cold water until cooled. Drain.
  • 2 In blender, place 1/3 cup of the cooked peas and remaining ingredients. (Cover and refrigerate remaining peas for another use.) Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.
  • 3 Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

For food safety reasons, frozen vegetables must be cooked.

Use remaining cooked peas in your mixed greens salad, or add to a soup or stir fry.
