The family and I did not like this at all. The flavor was way over powering. I could of added another cup or 2 of pasta to tame it. Will never make this again thats for sure. Went to the dogs and they didn't even finish it.

Is this a new/old Chicken Helper? I have been to 4 different stores and they do not carry it. I saw the recipe a acouple of weeks ago and really wanted to make it. Then I saw it again this weekend on my email. Is it a regional product? I am in AL. Thanks!

Can't wait to try this! To "UpToMe123" you are so right. I had to quit looking at the ratings and read before I made up my mind. Too many people post what they did different and rate it. Good tasting recipe......and easy to make. Hubby really liked it. To tlsmom it does tell you what to do with the ham (in step 1). I don't think anyone should rate a recipe until they have actually made it and tasted it. To take that one step further, don't change the recipe in any way and then rate it either - at that point you are not rating the recipe posted, you are rating your own recipe.

This recipe sounds good, however the recipe does not tell you what to do with the diced ham. It is listed as an ingredient, but is not mentioned in the cooking instructions.
