So easy and very tasty! Instead of regular sausage, and being from the Southwest (Arizona), I used chorizo sausage instead. This added a whole different level of spicy and was fantastic!

Very tasty!!! I also browned the hash browns in some chipotle seasonings first as well. I also put some chipotle salsa on top before the last topping of cheese before baking. 55 minutes was a bit long. I cooked mine right away rather than letting it sit for 8 hours.

I have made a similar recipe first using hash brown potatoes. The next time I used cubed toast bread. I prefer the bread. I think the toasted bread gives it a better flavor.

This was actually quite good. Mind you, I did fry the hashbrowns in some butter and oil before putting it down as the first layer. I'd made similar recipes without frying the hashbrowns and I didn't like the results. Hence the change. I also added two extra eggs. I gave it 5 stats anyway.

I made this recipe over the weekend. Instead of the spicy sausage, I used some leftover taco meat. The flavors were good. Next time, I think I will brown the hashbrowns in the oven for just a few minutes before putting anything else on top of them. They kind of got lost in the egg mixture. All in all, a great recipe that I will use again

I have used tator tots or crowns before and it comes out great. I have also used sour cream instead of milk. Yum-Yum...

Tried this recipe for a brunch yesterday after water aerobics. Will probably add more eggs next time...hashbrowns were dry. I had some half and half on hand so used 1 cup of it and 1/2 cup of skim milk. Added some sliced black olives before adding the last part of the cheese. Everyone really enjoyed and all was eaten. Will make again.

Very good. May add 2 packages of sausage next time. Mine actually was refrigerated for over 12 hours before baking, and it was fine.

Made this for Christmas brunch. A BIG hit with my family, everone went back for seconds. I did add 1/4 cup of butter to the hash browns, but that was the only change I made to this great recipe.
