could not find lemon yogurt but used vanilla with lemon juice and it turned out great!! loved it and will definitely make again!

Lovely, light and easy. Just enought lemon without being overpowering. The only complaint is that the topping while flavorful does not hold together and falls off when you are eating so I would probably add a bit of butter to hold it together. This recipe seems versatile that the yogurt flavors and the spices and nuts in the topping could be varied. Maybe some cardomom,pistachios and honey with the lemon yogurt for next time for a Mediterranean flair.

I thought this was really good! I substituted vanilla yogurt for the lemon yogurt though and cut out the lemon zest because I don't really like lemon cakes. It was the most moist coffee cake I've had. We will definitely make it again. I might substitute cinnamon for the nutmeg next time though.

This wonderfully simple recipe yielded a moist, tender coffee cake. I would probably opt for a traditional "crumb" topping (butter, flour, sugar, nuts) vs. the brown sugar and nuts only.
