Wake and bake! Put this dish together the night before, and awake to a savory bake of eggs, cheese and sausage.

I'm not too crazy with the sausage/cheese combo so I used ham instead!

I made some changes - added mild jalapenos (from jar) & always double recipe. This is a great & easy dish for breakfast or dinner. If the family doesn't gobble it up or take home w/them, leftovers for me!

I have made this several times for different people and it is always finished right up. I don't follow the recipe exactly, though. I use hot sausage or add about a 1/4 cup of medium salsa and use the regular sausage. I've used the maple sausage in it as well but it just didn't taste quite the same. Also, I am somewhat liberal with pepper in it. Following the recipe exactly is ok but it is very bland. You will definitely want to read the reviews to get some ideas to jazz it up. But it is a great breakfast or brunch dish. Very easy with very little clean up.

This is great with a Mexican twist, just add sauted jalapeno and onion. 1 and a half teaspoon taco seasoning, black olives. Use a mexican cheese blend and chrizo for the sausage. Serve with salsa on the side. I call it Mexican Wake -n- Bake and its Awesome!

This was very easy and delicious. I mixed it up while making dinner the night before and it was so easy to pour it in a dish and bake it the next morning. It was a little bland but that would be easily fixed by adding more spices to your liking. Good leftover the following morning too.

This is wonderful. A favorite with friends and family. I do use Jimmy Dean's hot sausage for lots of flavor and little to no grease.

Delicious! Instead of bisquick I used white bread cubes. Turned out great!
