Sandra Lee shares a recipe. Be seduced with a rich, moist coffee cake topped with a combo of cream cheese and orange marmalade.

I didn't have almonds or orange marmalade, so I used chocolate chips and pecans instead. I added some cocoa powder to the batter, about 2 tablespoons. Instead of marmalade I used 4 ounces of cream cheese and blackberry jam. It turned out very yummy and moist. I put about 3/4 cup of each chips and pecans in the batter. I had to bake it longer than it called for, about 40 mins.

I was looking for a recipe for a gluten-free coffee cake. I substituted Bisquick Gluten-free for the Bisquick and added 3/4 tsp. of almond extract to the batter. Very yummy!!

I have made this twice now. Went over well with our monthly brunch crowd. The second time, I added a tsp of Watkins Pure Orange Extract to the cake batter. Superb!

since I was using a 9" glass baking dish I lowered the temperature to 325*. The batter raised and spilled over the side of the dish burning in the bottom of the oven. The end results is a "lumpy" looking item.
