Blogger Brooke McLay from Cheeky Kitchen makes a snappy cookie bar full of the goodness of peanut butter, and lots of gooey goodness.

These were okay. One package of peanut butter (Nutter Butter or the like) cookies were not enough. One and a half at LEAST. Also, the cake mixture was too gummy, so I added a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and a teaspoon of vanilla. I agree with Pancy that parchment is a must. These could be great, but as is this recipe is average. I will use crunchy peanut butter next time, because the texture is a little overwhelmingly cake-like. I was expecting Gooey Stick to Your Fingers, and it was more like, Chewy Cakey Kinda Sticky. But at the end of the day they were all eaten, so I guess that says something!

OMG, these were so deliciou!! They were pretty easy, my only suggestion is to line your pan with parchment paper. I did on the second batch because they were a little difficult to get out of the pan. I made them for a cookie contest we had here at work. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but all who tasted them thought they were the best! This will be my new go to recipe.
