Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies
Just like Grandma’s, but easier to make with a cake mix plus only a few more ingredients.

These turned out perfectly and tasted even better. So few ingredients makes it so easy. I didn't have the problem of raising too much like others. I think the trick is to make sure the 1st mixing is until smooth. Followed recipe exactly and they were just perfect. No cake taste- just pure PB cookie :) Will keep this recipe on hand!!

This is absolutely the best peanut butter cookie recipe I have tried! The cookies stay soft, and they have so much peanut butter flavor. I was surprised that they don't have a cake mix taste after they're baked, because the dough did tast a bit cake mixy to me. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they are, and this is the only peanut butter cookie recipe I will use from now on.

Thought I lost this recipe for good--found it in an old "Church Favorites Recipe Book" published years ago--lent the book & never was returned. So happy to have found it on your web site! Delicious & so very easy-great to do with young children too.
