Bite into good old-fashioned homemade goodness with classic oatmeal cookies. You'll find just the right combo of butter, sugar, oats and raisins.

These were such a huge hit with my family. Many of my older relatives raved about the taste, and the memories the cookies brought back. I followed the recipe exactly as written. Wouldn't change a thing after the praises I received! Stick with the baking soda, I do not recommend using the baking powder as others have. It makes the cookies too cakey and that is not what you want from a true old fashioned cookie.

These truly have that old-fashioned oatmeal cookie taste. They're a classic with a traditional flavor. This is my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he loved them! Followed the recipe as listed and they're great! Be sure to mix the butter in well and they won't spread as much.

This was just ok. I made the mistake of following another reviwers advice and used 1/4 tsp of baking powder instead of soda. They were very cakey. I also soaked the raisins which made them nice and plump. I added butterscoth chips as well. If I decide on making them again I'd probably add nuts and use the baking powder instead.

Great! I changed to 2 c flour and added the 1/2 tsp baking POWDER as the comments suggested. Also, I used part corn syrup and part honey as I didn't have any molasses and it worked. Woo-hoo!

Didn't have molasses so I used dark corn syrup. Also, used 2 cups graham flower and added 1/2 t. baking POWDER since some reviews said they weren't fluffy. Quick, easy, and pretty yummy!

These cookies were great and simple traditional Oatmeal Raisin! It was my first time making Oatmeal Raisin cookies and it was very easy, and the batches cook up super quick. I thought they were basically perfect, I suppose they could be fluffier, and you could add more flour like other reviewers, I think that would make the cookies great too, but not being someone who knows how to properly tamper with a recipe, these tasted amazing just the way there were to me. Just a hint of cinnamon stands out in every bite, so yummy!
