EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

To get the most juice from the lemons, let them stand at room temperature or microwave on High for a few seconds before squeezing them. Rolling the lemons on a counter while pushing down firmly to break the tissues inside will also release more juice.

Tastes for sweetness of lemonade vary, so feel free to adjust the sugar to your taste. You may want to make this on the tart side and let guests add sugar if they prefer it sweeter.

I was making this for a bigger family. (7 people). My modification is as follows: 9 cups cold water 2 cups lemon juice (2 lemons and lemon juice at disposal) 2 cups sugar P.S. I actually used alittle less than 2 cups. (maybe 1.8) Accessory slices of: -Lemons -Kiwi -Oranges **Other than the altercation of ingredients, the recipe tasted SO good**

Lemon is too strong, Cut down the amount you use by half or less.

Wow!Wondeful.I love old time recipes! This reminds me of when I was younger. Every summer, my mother would make us go pick lemons and bring them to her. We would make jugs and jugs of lemonade for my family. it was such a good feeling to remember life as a child just through a sip of some good, fresh, and eaisly made homemade lemonade!
