I have been making this for over 45 years. My mother in law gave me my Betty Crocker Cookbook when I first got married. We've never found a better recipe. Also you can tell that it is my favorite cookbook by all the food stains on it. It is worn out from love.

I love bread pudding and this recipe really hit the spot! It was super quick and easy. I just cut it in half because I knew I would end up eating it all myself :)

This was good. After researching other recipes online, they all said to use 4 eggs. So I increased the eggs to 4. I heated the milk and butter. Then added all of the ingredients and put in the crock pot for 3 hours. I did add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg along with the 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Other recipes called for 1 cup of raisins, that is waaaay too much. Use 1/2 cup of raisins like this recipe says!

I had a package of week old hot dog buns and rather than throw out made this instead. It was yummy.I did add an extra teaspoon of cinnamon since we like it. It's going in my receipe binder. It's so easy to put together and pop in oven while you do other chores. It was a real treat for all of us. Soooo much better than the stuff I get when eating out. Make this if you like bread pudding. This taste like my mother made when we were growing up

I was so excited to find this recipe online. My mom has an old Betty Crocker cookbook with this recipe in it and I wanted to have it as well. This is the perfect recipe for the perfect food. It doesn't have to be a dessert and I love it!

This was so easy and good. Reminded me of my Mom's that I haven't had in years. My 11 year old daughter made most of it alone.
