This recipe has one major flaw and one minor flaw and who knows how many unknown flaws since the author obviously didn't think it through.
List of ingredients includes "1 tsp baking powder" with no mention of baking soda.
The directions include, "baking soda" with no mention of baking powder.
I'd like to give this recipe no spoon spoons as a rating, but I have to click at least one.
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg egg
1.In medium bowl mix flour,baking soda,and salt
2.In large bowl combine sugar and butter mix well
3.Add egg and vanilla extract to sugar and butter ,mix in flour mixture well,
4.Chill in refrigerator 2 hrs.
5.Pre heat oven to 350 F,Grease baking sheet
6.Shape dough into 6-1 1/2 inch rolls,slice into 1/4 inch slices,Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart Bake for 10-12 min or until golden brown
