These are so yummy!! Instead of using the chocolate chunk cookie mix i used the sugar cookie. It wasnt so overwhelmingly chocolate. I made the first batch of cookies a little to big but they were very good. Definently a holiday staple.

I thought they were okay, would be better without almonds. I made them and took them to work and found out a lot of people don't actually like cherries. The frosting was great!

These are the best! I have never had such a flavorful, rich chocolate cookie ever. My sister makes them for every occasion and when someone takes one, it can be assured that they will be back for more. I didn't realize how easy they were to make until reading this recipe. They will now be a staple in this house!
