With a sweet and nutty chocolate baked-on topping, here's a cake that's ready to go. No frosting needed.

I have made this for a potluck and a funeral. It was very easy to serve becuase it is good without ice cream or whipped topping. It went over very good at both. I have also made it at home for my family and they all loved it.

Buy a nice jar of caramel that you love. The cake is a little plain without it but the caramel adds the perfect "frosting". Simple and wonderful! Get the caramel!

Made this recipe as is and it was only ok. I loved the topping but not the plain cake. So, then I made it with brownies (used 3 eggs for "cake-like brownies") and the same topping and it was much better that way.

It just doesn't get any easier than this! I made this last minute for a coworker's birthday and it was welcomed with rave reviews. I plan to try it with a yellow cake mix next and will be passing this little gem along.

I needed a fast easy cake last year for a family dinner, a few days later I made it for a friends birthday at work (I also gave her the recipe) I have lost count of how many times that we have been ask "will one of you please bake the cake"

This recipe is so easy and so good I had to make it 2 days in a row! I made it for a dinner party and there were only crumbs left. It''s great because it doesn''t need frosting and the topping is yummy and the cake is moist. This recipe will be a staple- -I already have it memorized!

My family loved this cake. It was very moist and they especially liked to warm it slightly and serve with ice cream. Note - The recipe times however are not correct. I baked it for 45 minutes. I believe if it was baked for 1 hour 50 minutes it would be ruined.
