cup white corn syrup

cup sugar

cup peanut butter
1 1/2
cups chocolate chips
1
cup flaked coconut
1
cup nuts or quick-cooking oats

cup special K cereal or Rice Krispies
  1. In a metal or crockery mixing bowl combine peanut butter, chocolate chips and coconut. Mix well. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine corn syrup with sugar; stir. Bring to a boil; when mixture comes to a boil, continue to boil for 1 minute only.
  3. Pour the hot syrup over the peanut butter mixture and stir until well blended.
  4. Add 1 cup chopped nuts or 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
  5. Then add 1 cup of either special k cerial or rice krispies.
  6. Mix well. Spoon by the teaspoonful onto wax or parchment paper. Press down using a fork (criss cross). Refridger\ate for 15 minutes.
