This is AMAZING!!! I am not the cooker of the house, my hubby is, but I saw this receipe and thought it sounded pretty easy to make, AND IT IS!! The only thing that scared me was the 6oz of medium egg noodles, it didn't seem like enough so I added a little more, (8oz-10oz total) that also made it not as soupy. My hubby loved it and it very proud of me! It's been added to our week night dinners list. :)

Made this tonight bc I wanted to try the Soup Starter also. I had a hard time finding the specific one but Walmart superstore carries it and it was pretty cheap. I used frozen veggies in place of just the red peppers and onions. It was quite good. I grated swiss cheese on the top. Everytime I make something new, we take a vote and it got 3 thumbs up!

I never thought the day would come when you required instructions to figure out how to divide a recipe into 6 servings. Think about pizza cut into 6 slices and visualize your pan the same way. Another way is to measure the completed dish for yield and then divide it out yourself.

I would also like to know what a serving size is.

I made this for dinner tonight with a bunch of substitutions! My pork sausage had gone bad so I used ground beef, I did not have frozen peppers so I used fresh green peppers and onions, I didn't have the right noodles so I used extra wide noodles, and I used mixed shredded cheese instead of mozzarella. The one thing I actually went to the store for was the soup starter because I was interested in trying it out anyway. As I was cooking this up it looked just like hamburger helper (which I would never make or eat) and I was a little skeptical about how it would taste! Needless to say, it was a total hit with my family and I have a very picky 2 year old to boot. Everyone was happy with this meal and it was a great substitute for spaghetti which my husband doesn't really care for. Next time I think I will add some frozen mixed veggies to it or something like that. I would be interested in knowing how to make this if I didn't have the soup starter though. Just in case;)

1 Serving (1 Serving) You really had to put 1 serving in parentheses??? What is 1 serving? 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 1 cup?
