Need a fast soup? This one's ready in a flash. It's satisfying, too, with chicken, broccoli and new potatoes.

I made this for dinner tonight. I used regular potatoes cut into 1 inch cubes instead of new potatoes, and added salt, pepper, garlic powder, a splash of Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce. I also added 2 diced onions that I sweated in the pot in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil before adding everything else. I used 2 jars of chicken gravy and about 1-1/2 cups of water. At the very end, I added about 2 cups of frozen (partially thawed) broccoli florets and 2 cups of frozen carrots (partially thawed and diced into bite size pieces). It came out fabulous!

I made this with snap peas, not broccoli. Added onion, carrots, and the extra gravy. It was good. I saw the other reviews. You do not use a mixer, use a spoon to stir next time. :()

I made this tonight and since I read the comments first, I made it in my 6qt dutch oven. I also used two jars of gravy, salt, pepper, parsley, minced onions and carrots. It turned out very well. It took longer than 5 min to wash and chop broccoli, wash and chop potatoes, chop the chicken, mix everything in the pot and bring to a boil. Even though I cut my potatoes into 8 pieces instead of 4 it took way more than 25 min for them to cook. My red potatoes were average size. This was so absolutely delicious that I will be making it on a regular basis.

Used fresh broccoli and it turned into much. Okay as soon as it is made, but we threw the leftovers out. Lacks flavor.

I was given this recipie by my boyfriend's mom. It is incredibly easy and a real treat for him when I make them. The only negative was you really need a heavy-duty mixer to make them, as I almost burned up my hand mixer!

This was very quick and easy to make and I am not the cook in the family (Mark). My daughter washed and cut up the potatos and I did the rest. I used the snap pea pods because we do not like broccoli. I also added a small can of mushrooms (drained). You will need to add salt and pepper to taste. We all liked it.

It is a great recipe because I can use it without the chicken and use my soychicken: I am a vegetarian and would like to see recipes for me too. Do you have our kind of recipes?

The recipe was Ok for a quick weekday meal. It lacks flavor if you follow the recipe to a 'T'. Using 1 1/2 jars of gravy help thicken up the stew and add more taste. If using frozen snap pea pods, thaw and add to the stew for the last few minutes of cooking. Like most recipes, if you season to taste and make it your own it will be more enjoyable.

My family loved it! I used 1 1/2 jars of chicken gravy though to make it thicker. I made it with cornbread and cut it up over the top! Great meal...we''ll do it again.

This was an easy recipe to make. 20 minutes and it was done. Was more like a soup than a stew, lots of leftovers. Will make again!
