My son ate most of the Graham crackers so he had to use saltine crackers to get the right measurement. We did not have powdered sugar, so we used sweetened condensed milk & used 1 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in the cold milk. We also used Dark Chocolate chips mixed with White Chocolate chips, instead of milk chocolate chips. We were out of butter so we used coconut oil instead. These cookies are super-rich and delicious! <3

To cut the chocolate without it breaking, you need to score through it first just before its set, then once fully chilled you can cut all the way through with a sharp knife, hope that helps. This is the perfect substitute for the original recipe b/c it requires much less effort and attention.

I made these for the first time and got good reviews from family. I would say though that it would be better to under bake the cookie base, rather than over bake. At 16 minutes, it didn't seem quite set to me, but at 18 minutes they were a little drier/crunchier perhaps than they should have been. Next time - 16 minutes!

I used my Kitchen-Aid to mix the filling. I warmed the milk before adding it to the butter, powered sugar, and pudding mix. That helped the mixture come together smoothly without adding more milk. These turned out great!

I'm surprised there are only 3 reviews, considering this is the MOST amazing dessert I have ever made or eaten, seriously, first bite I felt i should be in a restaurant paying for it. VERY VERY easy as well, definitely try it or you'll be missing out!!!

So incredibly rich! Definitely want to cut these into smaller bars. But unbelievably good! And yeah, you're gonna need more milk/butter in the pudding mixture.

I'm making cookie 'sampler' plates to give as Christmas gifts. So far, everyone has raved about this cookie and I'm doing another batch tonight to take to a cookie party tomorrow. The only change I made was to add a bit more milk to the pudding filling. Otherwise it was delicious!
