cup Extra-virgin olive oil
1/4
cup red wine vinegar

tsp mustard powder

tbsp sugar
salt and pepper
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar with a right-fitting lid. The dressing will keep for weeks in the refrigerator.
  2. Variations: Add chopped fresh herbs, such as tarragon, oregano or thyme; add minced garlic, or use white wine vinegar instead of red. But I prefer the taste of the red.
