Muffin Pizza Minis

Muffin cups are perfect for making these deep-dish style pizza minis! Quick and easy to make, and guaranteed to be a hit with your kids. Serve with side salad to round out the meal.

Ingredients

1/2
lb mild Italian sausages, casings removed (about 3 sausages from a 19-oz package)
1
pouch (9 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce
1
can Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic pizza crust
1/2
cup shredded Italian cheese blend (2 oz)

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 16 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2 In 10-inch skillet, cook sausages over medium-high heat 6 to 7 minutes, breaking up and stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain. Stir in cooking sauce; set aside.
  • 3 Meanwhile, unroll dough on work surface. Cut into 16 equal pieces. Place 1 in each muffin cup, pressing firmly in bottom and up side near edges. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons meat mixture in each cup; top with slightly less than 2 teaspoons cheese.
  • 4 Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Run knife around edges to remove from muffin cups.
