This recipe may be "heart smart" in some ways (lower fat), but any bread type recipe with ZERO fiber is NOT heart healthy. I still want to see a better version of Bisquick made with whole wheat and possibly other whole grains, not all processed white flour. There are great alternative pastas out there, why not this?

Not bad, but not great, either. If there was a 2-and-a-half option I would''ve used that instead of 3. The "dough" is not really dough. I''d say it''s more like a batter, and a tad difficult to spread evenly. Once baked, it''s so cakey, it completely swallows up the rest of the ingredients, making the whole dish rather dry. It''s not likely I''ll be making this again, but if I do, I may cut the batter ingredients by half and make it open-faced style.

The taste of the sandwiches was great. We took the recipe used it in the loaf pans. The prep time is WAY off though. It takes more than 10 min to just spread the dough into the pans. When the sandwiches baked up, the dough turned more into a biscuit than a bread, so they were kind of crunchy, but good none the less. I would suggest playing with the recipe and tryin to make it more "fluffy."
