Bsinclair you can find the chocolate licorice at any grocery store. I found it at Publix however it was a huge pack so I decided to draw the eyebrows with the black icing instead of buying the whole bag.

Where do you find the "black" string licorice? I can't find a store that carries "black"!

It looks cool....mine definitely didn't look as nice as the picture but my kids loved it anyway. I ended up throwing most of the cake away though....the bright green icing was cool for halloween but the day after the icing wasn't appealing. This may have been because all the Halloween candy was around, the unappetizing color of the icing, or the slightly off flavor all that food coloring gave the icing.
