Made this recipe tonight...OMG, it is tremendous! I have been making chocolate chip cookies since I was a little girl, have tried lots of different recipes (all scratch), and these are the best by far. They did not need the additional 1 tbsp of milk...I live in south Florida, so lack of moisture is not usually an issue. I used a small scoop, so they're closer to teaspoon-size, and I baked them for about 11 minutes. They came out slightly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. A real winner!!!

This is, by far, the easiest, quickest, and tastiest chocolate chip cookie recipe that I have found! I have two teenaged sons, and they love eating these cookies right from the oven! The consistency is nice and soft like right from the bakery. I have made this many times with a chocolate cake mix, too, and the cookies are scrumptious! My favorite recipe!!

This is one of the best fail-safe recipe ever. I have made this counts less times with several different types of cake mixes.. Red velvet cake mix with raspberries chip cookies to die for!!!...keep in mind you'll have to tweak it to different types of cake mixes...

Just made these in a flash... quick, easy and adjustable...didn't have nuts so I substituted peanut butter chips. Don't make them too big because it doesn't cook evenly... I will be using this recipe again

These are super yummy and easy to make! I used devils food cake for the base so the result was a double chocolate chip cookie! My almost 5 year old helped me roll them into balls and put them on the cookie sheet. They freeze nicely and are super with a cup of coffee. :O) Totally yum!

I am by no means a baker. BUT i decided to try this recipe because it seemed super simple. i am so glad that i did! they came out soft and chewy, just the way i like them! only drawback is..they dry out pretty quickly. never again will i buy pre-packaged choc. chip cookies. i love them!!

Are you supposed to follow the cake mix recipe and then add what's required or do you just use the cake mix as a replacement for flour and such?

My husband loves to be "quality control engineer" on these cookies when they are fresh from the oven. He ususally has to eat at least 4 to make sure they are good.
