With a handful of toppings on prebaked crusts, these are ready to eat in less than half an hour.
tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
cup thin bite-size green bell pepper strips
cup sliced onion
oz thinly sliced cooked seasoned roast beef (from deli), cut into strips
prebaked Italian pizza crusts (6 inch each)
cup shredded Swiss cheese (2 2/3 oz)
Heat oven to 400°F. In 8-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper and onion; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until crisp-tender. Remove from heat. Stir in roast beef.
Place pizza crusts on ungreased cookie sheet. Divide roast beef mixture evenly onto crusts. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is hot.
Italian pizza crusts are prepared crusts usually flavored with garlic and Parmesan cheese. Look for this time-saving product in the deli, bakery area or produce department of the grocery store.
