These cupcakes are amazing and I am not a key lime pie fan. This is a must try! My husband and I used a little more key lime juice than called for but other than that we did everything as directed. Delicious!

I have changed this recipe 2 ways: First - I used angel food cupcakes for an especially light version. I also have baked a cake in 13X9 pan, cut cooled cake into cubes and used filling in layers with cake for a trifle. Very pretty. This recipe is versatile and delicious any way.

I probably would have used a lemon cake mix and substituted the lime juice instead of water in the mix.

I made these last night because I wanted something sweet and they are delicious. I put my own little spin on them by adding extra Key Lime juice and Lemon peels.

Delicious little bite. I did not use the full amount of powdered sugar for the green topping to keep it a little more tart (just under 1 cup). I did a home made cream cheese topping with key lime juice for the white frosting. I love that they are so little. Would use even less powdered sugar next time, so the tart key lime could come through even stronger.

I am not a key lime pie person, but these are fabulous. I made them for St. Pat's day because they were green and my family went nuts. I have used Yellow Butter cake with this and it is very good.

Made these last night. Made about 36 cupcakes. They were a hit and looked just like the picture! They are so light and tasty; be careful not to eat to many. :)

I made these to take to family & friends. Followed the recipe and only change was I made 30 cupcakes instead of 48. Wanted a little more cake to share. Just filled paper cups a little more. Took them to my daughter at work to share and everyone loved them. She took some home to her family and they judged them yummmy! So they were a big hit and so springtime looking. Got lots of compliments on the look also. Great recipe.
