They're burgers. They're cookies. They're sweet sandwich cookies that look like mini burgers!

Any ideas for a substitute of the coconut? I'm highly allergic to coconut. I'd love to make these though.

I have made something very similar to this before. I used Nilla wafers for the "buns" and Grasshopper cookies for the "burger". It is much quicker in case you need to throw something together at the last minute.

These cookies are so much fun. I made them when me and my friend had a bakesale and they were a hit! after the plate of these burger cookies was half-gone a lady came up and said, "I'll give you $30 for the whole plate!" I'll definitely be making these again :)

I made these cookie for the annual family 4th of July party and they were a smash. They really are easy to make and just the cutest cookie I have ever seen. Everyone loved them. I took the advise in another review and used the chocolate covered Oreos instead of the peppermint patties. The hardest part of this was initially getting the sugar cookies the correct size for the Oreos. Kudos to whoever came up with this idea. I will make these again for sure.

These cookies turned out super cute and I got tons of compliments on them. I do have a couple suggestions though. When my mom and I made them, we used Oreo Fudge Cremes instead of the peppermint patty, and they tasted much much yummier but looked the same. Those can be found in the cookie aisle! Perfect for a summer BBQ!
