These are great...my favorite...just leave out the sugar. What I also like is mix OJ & pineapple juice then the Champagne. For the kids mix a bit of cramberry juice & they think they are getting something special too.

At Xmas as well as the traditional dinner, we also make a huge breakfast to have after opening our gifts. It''s filled with special foods that I have made my children since they were young and are really anticipated as we only do this on Xmas Day. These were just the spice the meal needed and ended up being a big hit. Instead of the various juices/beverages we would of normally had, this was a great addition, being not only tasty but a refreshing change. Everyone liked them and are looking forward to them at Xmas again. (You could drink them anytime and would probably be cooling at a summer picnic!)

A quintessential favorite for brunch or afternoon. I leave out the sugar and find it''s just as effectively delicious that way. You can''t miss with this combination. I find "cheap" champagne works fine but I highly recommend brut type, the driest of champagnes. A votre sante'' !
