Just made the polenta pie again, except with these changes: 2 cups of the cornmeal, same amount of water, no egg, mixed in 3 slices of American cheese and 7 splashes of hot sauce. plus 1 cup microwaved frozen white corn. Baked for 20 min., then topped with onion rings and garlic, sea salt and Italian seasonings and baked for another 15 min. Wowee, reminded me of old fashioned corn pudding (a recipe I cannot seem to find).
