This recipe is really what I needed to make my first cheesecake! But I made several adjustments; omitted the chili powder, used 8 oz bar of Baker's Semi-sweet chocolate instead od the chips. After melting choc bar in double boiler, I used only 1/4 c. whipping cream and then added 2 Tbsp. Instant Dark Roast Coffee to choc mix. I then set the springform pan in a water bath in oven. Cooked for about requested time but left in oven for about 1 hour after turned off. It was totally decadent! Topped with whipped cream & Cherry pie filling. My family raved about it!!
