Breakfast cereal is the surprise ingredient that keeps these hearty, colorful stuffed peppers low in fat and calories and high in flavor!

Decent recipe, although I substituted ground turkey. My only complaint is that they were a little bland, I think I'll add some jalapeno next time I make them.

I made these last night with a few changes, and they were delicious! I used poblano peppers instead of bell, doubled the green chiles and spices, and mixed the beans in with the meat to cook them a bit before stuffing the peppers. I am definitely going to make these again!

I thought it was pretty good overall. Though I used Tomatoes instead of Peppers. The filling was really good, but the downside to adding the tomatoes is that while eating it it turned into soup. I think it would make a great chili if you added some more beans and a little more meat. We also added jalapenos for a little kick.

I was reading the reviews and was a little nervous to make these but decided to give them a try and I thought they were great (but I did make a few changes). I used a full pound of extra lean ground beef (I thought it could use it since it was for 8 servings). I added 1 can of tomato sauce to make the filling a little thinner (I thought it was too thick). I doubled the cumin and chili powder, but I think next time I will add a little more since it didn't stand out. I will say any healthy recipe that I can trick my family into eating is a winner in my book!

We didn't hate it, but we certainly didn't love it. We do like peppers, but this recipe seemed a little bland when I was hoping for more of a zesty, spicy taste. I completely agree with the reviewer before me. I wish I would've read her review before making this. I probably won't be making this again for a long time, and if I do I'll more than likely make adjustments.

Ours tasted a little too much like the tomato puree and beans rather than the spices or other ingredients -- this left it (as someone stated below) tasting a little too "pasty". For us, the concept was better than the taste, unfortunately. If I were to try it again, I would use a little less tomato puree, more meat, and perhaps a taco seasoning.

These were a hit in our house! I used Bran One cereal sticks instead of the Fiber One & I used ground turkey instead of the beef. My husband wasnt thrilled about cereal being in the peppers, but he gobbled them up!

I was not a fan of this at all. The insides were pasty and I didn't like the texture. The peppers were still crunchy when they were done.

I was hoping this would have a chili taste. Instead, it tasted very much like the Fiber 1 cereal, which turned my kids off. I would make this again, but would probably use bread crumbs instead of the cereal.
