A quick, simple meal.
Box Kraft Tangy Italian Spaghetti Mix
8 oz can tomato sauce
3.8 oz can black olives
can sliced mushrooms
14 oz can Hunts diced tomatoes, roasted garlic flavor
Drain tomatoes and reserve juice. Drain olives and mushrooms, discard juice. Saute drained tomatoes, olives and mushrooms in butter. Add reserved tomato juice and tomato sauce. If sauce looks a little thick, add a little water. Stir in herb season packet from spaghetti dinner. Heat just to boiling, reduce heat and simmer. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. When it is done, toss all together with parmesan in a big bowl and serve.

You could use olive oil instead of butter for a more robust flavor, add onions or use fresh tomatoes. This was a quite tasty dish that was fast and easy. I think it is open to lots of variations.
