cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

cup chopped pecans or cashews

cup chopped onion (1 large)

tablespoons soy sauce

teaspoon dried basil leaves

eggs, beaten
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease or spray 15x10x1-inch pan.
  2. In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place in pan.
  3. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
Makes 4 servings (6 "meatballs" each)

Substitution
