Classic margarita flavors of salt, lime and even a dash of tequila combine to make this jazzy snack mix. Olé!

You can purchase the margarita mix online. Check Amazon and eBay.

This recipe is the greatest. Like others it was hard to find the powdered mix. You need to look at Liquor Stores. I did find it at a liquor store in Northern Minnesota after finding it on the internet on Amazon.com and buying tons of it. Okay though because everyone loves it and I will make it alot.

I couldn''t wait to make this recipe, but I can''t find a dry margarita mix anywhere in town, or within a 50 mile radius. All the food and liquor stores thought I was crazy. If the staff at Betty Crocker is going to post a recipe, the least they could do is find out if all the ingredients are readily available! I would like to know where others bought the margarita mix and what brand they bought. I looked online and could only find one source, but who wants to pay shipping just to try a recipe. I''m very disappointed!

Please give us some idea of where we can purchase the dry margarita mix, or at least a brand name. I agree with the other comments, if Betty Crocker is going to push a recipe they should make sure the ingredients are readily available. I called every grocery store and liquor store in a 90 mile radius and they all thought I was crazy. I even had my sisters looking in Colorado and Maine - no luck! Where did the other people buy this dry margarita mix?

I made this and served it when friends came over. I did not think it was special, but they practically licked the bowl. I made it again, and again did not love it myself although it did grow on me a bit. I would alway use really good mixed nuts, and a lot of them.

I took Betty Crocker''s advice as to use a presweetened drink mix instead of the margarita mix. It was awful. Very bitter and it was really gooey. I had to throw it away. Was a waste of time and ingredients.

What is the name of the mix? I can see the recipe hinges on using it.

I haven''t made this yet, but it sounds good. I am reviewing in response to all the questions... Where do I get the dry Margarita Mix?? I found it at Weis across from the sodas in the section with all the other drink mixes. Hope this helps!
