Great recipe! I've made this several times and it never fails. The Kikkoman brand panko is lower in sodium than the Progresso, so I use Kikkoman plain panko, organic mayo, and pure maple syrup. The flavor is also so much better if you use pure maple syrup. It's worth the splurge. Very nice served with whole green beans, broccoli, or zucchini. Try this recipe; you won't be disappointed!

I made this for the 2nd time tonight - oh so good. Next time I'm going to try it with a pinch of cayenne in the maple mix!

Great chicken very crispy. My husband who is VERY picky called it "very good"! I didn't pound the chicken breasts, otherwise I followed all the directions. So easy to make. We will be having this again. Not afraid to make it for company.

This is a delicious recipe. My husband loved it too. I used chicken thighs, didn't pound them, and added just a tad of salt. The flavor is subtle, and kept us wanting more!! 100% maple syrup gives it better flavor than imitation flavored syrup. PANKO can be found in the bread crumb section or Chinese food section, made by Kikkoman.

I was disappointed by this recipe. Based on the reviews, I thought it would taste better. But it was not that great, in my opinion. Maybe it was the kind of syrup I used (sugar-free, maple-flavored); I don't know. All I know is, I don't think I'm going to make it again.

I made this for dinner last night and it was Fabulous..... I love the Maple Pecan Chicken by Tyson that you can only find at Costco at Christmas - but now I can make my own... I didn't have Panco Bread crumbs on had so I searched the internet for how to make them. I ended up using 2 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs, 1 Tbs. Basil, 1 Tbs. Thyme, 1 tsp. chili powder and freshly ground pepper. I also doubled the mayo and maple syrup just to make sure I had enough - then just put my chicken in the same bowl and let the chicken marinate for about an hour. Then dipped it into the bread crumbs. I didn't flatten my chicken but instead sliced it into 1 inch strips trying to keep uniformity in size. Baked it at 400 for 15 mins. flipped them and baked for another 10 mins. My "picky husband and 2 16 yr. olds" all loved it. Nice and tender and the wonderful aroma filled the house. This is a keeper for sure.....

I wasn't fond of this recipe. The chicken was cooked perfectly; nice and moist. It also seemed to "plump up," which never happened before. However, I thought the coating was too sweet (which I guess was to be expected, since it contained maple syrup). Maybe I should have tried adding some mustard, as others suggested. Also, the chicken didn't brown after cooking 20 minutes. I didn't want to cook it any longer for fear of drying it out. I won't be making this again, unless I figure out how to make it less sweet.

This is definitely a keeper!! So simple and quick. Everyone liked it. Family couldn't believe how large the chicken breasts turned out after being flattened a bit, lol!! Made for even cooking. I did add some dijon mustard (about 1 heaped teaspoon) to the maple syrup and mayonnaise, just to counteract the sweetness a bit more.

I do all the cooking for my family. We are gluten sensitive so I changed the bread crumbs to gluten free corn flake crumbs. They worked great. This recipe was a nice change for us. It came out great and was very tasty. It was quick and easy to make. Everyone liked it and I'll be making it again.
