Serve these warm muffins made using Gold Medal® all-purpose flour and bacon - perfect for a delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/3
cup packed brown sugar

teaspoons baking soda
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/2
cup milk
1/2
cup real maple syrup
1/3
cup butter, melted
1
egg

slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled (1/2 cup)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. In medium bowl, stir milk, syrup, butter and egg until blended. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in bacon. Fill muffin cups three-fourths full.
  • 3 Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm.
